West Hartford resident, Stacy Rubin, visited with Mary and shared info from her newly-published book, "The ABC's of Breastfeeding". She is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant and has over fifteen years experience caring for mothers and babies. Stacy graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1988. Upon graduation, she was commissioned an Army Nurse Corp officer and served overseas during the 1st Gulf War. Following fours years of active duty military service, Stacey attended the University of Florida and earned a Master of Nursing degree in 1995. After graduation, she relocated to New England and joined the neonatal nurse practitioner team at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.
